Mashups can be tricky, especially if the two artists you're "mashing" have headstrong fan bases who will probably really hate the fact that you effed with the original. But producer Carlos Serrano, the remix master behind that white-hot Adele x Daft Punk remix, has managed to not offend Kanye West stans (VERY shocking) or Lana Del Rey stans with his mashup of Yeezy's "Homecoming" and Lana's "Born To Die." In fact, we think he's pretty much impressed everyone.

Titled "Coming To Die," Carlos' mashup is a laid-back, sultry track that layers Kanye's aggressive rhymes over Lana's honeyed "Born To Die" instrumentation. Unfortunately we don't hear anything from the "Dayglo Reflection" songstress but we do get plenty of lush vocals from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin whose pipes were featured on Kanye's original "Homecoming" recording. Is this record gonna soundtrack your next rager? Probably not, but it's the ideal song to play while you're taking a long relaxing bath, cooking or making out with someone. But no seriously, try that last one.
