Alicia Keys goes graffiti in her"New Day" lyric video.

We kind of assumed that Alicia Keys' "New Day" might be about her son Egypt when we heard lyrics like "There's no limitation, no/ Fill up your life/ Let me see your hands up.../ There's a feeling that I got that I can't give up/ Feeling in my heart that I can't get over." But, Alicia just debuted a brand-new lyric video for the song, and it features a ton of graffiti. And here we thought it was best to keep babies away from aerosol cans. (Or maybe we're just taking everything a bit too literally and should cool it. Yep, that's probably it.)

Alicia's "New Day" lyric video is set in New York City and features the words to her song spray-painted in notebooks and on city walls. Sure, Mayor Bloomberg might be a tad bit miffed about tagging public property, but he might be down once he read Alicia's poetic lyrics. Besides, how much revenue did THIS SONG make for the city, anyway? You should really be thanking her, dude.
