Some people like to accuse Madden of being the same game every year, but that simply isn't true--players now apparently have the ability to fly into the air, unbeknownst to everyone around them. The video above, posted to by player Grant Tucker, shows a hilarious glitch he encountered in . In a game between the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings, a defensive lineman is knocked to the ground, which is nothing unusual. He then proceeds to fly into the air before--in my favorite part of the video--crash-landing almost 20 yards away a few seconds later. (Impressively, the defense still got the sack.) Bugs and glitches are nothing new to the series, and, looking at the official Madden , it seems that this year's game is no exception. Some of these are far more serious (and much less amusing) than players flying into the air, with players reporting that the game freezes at various points, including the main menu, depth chart, and loading screens. Other players are upset over the game's lack of an online team play mode, which is not a glitch, but a deliberate omission on the part of developer EA Tiburon.
