Rockstar pushes back release of Hostage Negotiation Pack to sometime later this fall. 
Max Payne 3's Hostage Negotiation Pack downloadable content was supposed to release in September. That launch window has come and gone, and Rockstar has now officially delayed the DLC to sometime later this fall.
"Our apologies to Max Payne fans who've been waiting for this one and the other upcoming packs; we're working hard to bring you this and all the other DLC and should have a release date to announce for this next pack very soon," Rockstar said in a statement.
The Hostage Negotiation DLC will add four new multiplayer maps (Club Moderno, Estadio Do Galatians, O Palacio Strip Club, and Favela Heights), as well as three new items: Intimidation Mask (slows down opponents' reload time), Bomb Suit (protects against explosive damage), and Explosive Burst (creates fiery booby traps).
Additionally, the Hostage Negotiation DLC for Max Payne 3 will add two new weapons to players' arsenals. These include the M24 Sniper Rifle and the IA2 Assault Rifle.
When the pack does launch, it will set gamers back $10 on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The DLC is free for those who hold a $30 Rockstar Pass, which unlocks all planned add-on content for Max Payne 3.
