With just hours to go before The Game Awards 2014, the show's physical award has been revealed. Released on Twitter by producer Geoff Keighley, the award depicts a winged, polygon humanoid.

The award itself was designed by WETA Workshop, the acclaimed special effects and props company based in New Zealand and most famous for its work on Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies.

The Game Awards 2014 kick off this evening at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern. Not only will the event bring news of this year's Game of the Year, but we're also expecting announcements, musical performances, and more. You can watch the entire event right here on GameSpot.
