Hasbro sent out this amazing page-a-day Star Wars calendar to help us countdown to the release of new Star Wars: The Force Awakens product on “Force Friday” on September 4th.

Today we are 76 days away from Force Friday and the toy of the day is a sore subject for me.   Many of the Power of the Force figures released in 1985 were figures that I always wanted them to make, but for some reason I still don’t understand, as a kid in 1985 I stopped collecting Star Wars figures and switched over to collect Transformers and I missed out on all of these figures.  I have since picked up a smattering of “the last 17″ but Han Carbonite has still avoided my grasp.

But he’s a great choice by the Hasbro team to mark the last day of spring.
