This week the mailman dropped off my Hasbro/Amazon exclusive Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order Legion 7-pack. This is a set that I literally ordered on my smartphone while I was standing in line for Toys R Us to open for Force Friday back in September. The day after I ordered I was told it was delayed until February. Then I got a update last week saying it would arrive this week.
I ordered this a bit blindly. I didn’t know if it would have unique packaging or if I would just get 7 single carded figures in one box. I did know, at the time that it looked like there were two exclusive figures in the set.
The packaging turned out pretty cool. It’s a cube that unfolds to reveal all 7 figures and their bios. There is a tab with velcro that holds the cube closed.
The package: – The packaging reuses the original painting used on the single card releases as well as showing the planet/location factions that the figures appear in the film.
The Figures: Five of of seven figures are the same as their single carded releases and come with the same accessories as their original release. The two exclusives to this set (for now?) are the Riot Control First Order Stormtrooper and the Heavy Artillery Stormtrooper.
Captain Phasma:
First Order TIE Pilot:
First Order Flame Trooper:
Riot Control Stormtrooper:
Heavy Artillery Stormtrooper:
First order Snowtrooper:
First Order Stormtrooper:
The set has sold out temporarily several times, but is currently available again on Amazon.com for $48 on Amazon Prime.
