I’ve been friends with master sculptor Tim Bruckner for over 10 years and a fan of his work for even longer. I had the great privilege to sit down with him last week and do an exclusive in depth interview with him as he is looking at semi-retiring from sculpting, putting together a career retrospective of his personal work, we talk about his life, his process, what he does in his downtime, his advice for new sculptors entering the industry and much, much more!

If you are anywhere near the Pacific Northwest I would really encourage you to head up to Seattle to the Krab Jab Studio and see this exhibit Well Played: The Art of Tim Bruckner before it closes on Feb 6th.
Illustrator. Sculptor. Toy Maker. Writer. Comedian. Whatever hat Tim puts on,it’s with skill, dedication, and glorious humor. With new, one-of-a-kind works in this show, we are celebrating his 40+ years of creative endeavors and the legacy he has left for the next generation. They are quite the (clown) shoes to fill!
Tim wrote an essay about this week about what it was like to put together a career retrospective of his work that you can read here at MuddyColors.com.
