$15 gameplay, appearance shortcut bundles and $30 Season Pass now available for Ubisoft's new action game; second-hand users need to pay $10 for full online access.
Assassin's Creed III launched this week at $60, a price equal to the total cost of all downloadable content available for Ubisoft's new stealth-action game. In addition to the previously announced $30 Assassin's Creed III DLC season pass, Ubisoft has also made available two shortcut bundles.
The first is the $15 Assassin's Creed III Appearance Pack. This offering immediately unlocks all appearance elements for levels 1-50. This includes all character customization, weapons, and moves, as well as all player profile emblem symbols, patterns, and patron pictures.
The second offering is the $15 Assassin's Creed III Gameplay Pack, which unlocks access to "all gameplay elements" without regard to players' current level. This includes all sets, abilities, perks, streaks, and bonuses.
Additionally, players who pick up a second-hand copy of Assassin's Creed III will need to pay $10 for full access to the game's online component. Without a Uplay Passport, players will not be able to purchase abilities, perks, streaks, and items beyond level 10.
Assassin's Creed III launched this week for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A Wii U release is slated for November 18 day-and-date with the system and a PC launch will round out the bunch on November 20. For more on Assassin's Creed III, check out GameSpot's review.
