Demi Lovato got some serious new ink, guys.

We've seen Demi Lovato's tattoos before (she got the word "faith" written on her arm as well as a heart inspired by her fans), but we never, ever thought we'd see the day when Demi got a forearm sleeve! OK fine, so maybe it's not quite a full "forearm sleeve," but it is a giant flock of birds flying up her forearm, which is just as cool. And way more poetic.

Demi hit up famed tattoo artist Kat Von D's studio to get her brand-new bird ink and naturally, she tweeted all about it to her throngs of Lovatics: "Thank you so much @thekatvond for my new ink!! I think it's beautiful and I love it!!" We do too! Truth be told, we're not usually into super prominent tattoos, but there's something really lovely and feminine about the way Demi's birds are "flying" towards the sky. And are always aiming higher. And can lift Demi up whenever she needs it. Aaaaand we just fell into a tattoo metaphor black hole. Our apologies!
