Several public forums in major Australian cities will be held by Screen Australia to determine how to administer A$20 million Interactive Games Fund.
Just a few weeks after the Australian government announced its plan to support Australian game development with a A$20 million grant, Screen Australia have indicated how potential beneficiaries may be determined.
Screen Australia has scheduled four public forums to be held in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney this month. A webinar has also been scheduled for those who would like to participate in the discussion online.
The forums are intended to allow the Australian games sector to contribute thoughts and comments on an options paper, which will become available on Monday, December 10 via Screen Australia's website.
Up-to-date information on the Interactive Games Fund can be found at the fund's Facebook page. Those interested in the conversation are able to join in through Twitter using the hashtag #GamesFund.
