Here's 10 reasons why you should tune in to "VH1 Divas" on Sunday!
We're in celebration mode, guys! It's the end of the year, and there has been so much good stuff to look back on (we could talk about Demi Lovato for like an hour alone, OK?). So let's blow 2012 out with a spectacle like no one has ever seen! We're talking, of course, about "VH1 Divas," a show that pays homage to all the world's FOINEST diva talent and features a lineup so stacked, that we don't know how they're going to fit all of that FLAWLESSNESS on stage. (We're sure they'll find a way.) Like, we're talking about Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, and MORE in one auditorium. Need we even continue?
Here are 10 reasons you should tune in to the show on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
1.) JUST IN CASE YOU WEREN'T AWARE GLAMBERTS, ADAM LAMBERT IS HOSTING! Yes, the "Trespassing" singer/guyliner expert will be hosting the salute to some of our favorite singers of all time.
2.) ADAM LAMBERT IS PERFORMING AS WELL, INCLUDING A MADONNA SONG! And he ain't just hosting either! Yes he will be performing a number of songs, including a tribute to the Queen of Pop, but he's been mysteriously mum regarding the particular Madge tune. HMM.
3.) MILEY CYRUS WILL TAKE A BREAK FROM PERFORMING WITH STRIPPERS TO SING AT "VH1 DIVAS!" We don't know if she's bringing the bondage gear or not, but we do know Miley will be performing at "Divas," and we're definitely sure the "Decisions" singer is going to bring it!
4.) OUR QUEEN (AND LAST FANS STANDING WINNER) DEMI LOVATO IS PERFORMING "GIVE YOUR HEART A BREAK" Demi has had such an amazing year: from having the craziest fans to winning a VMA for "Best Video With A Message" for "Skyscraper." And now she's finishing out 2012 with a performance that will def SHUT DOWN the "Divas" stage. We can't wait!

5.) JORDIN SPARKS, MELANIE FIONA, AND LEDISI WILL PAY TRIBUTE TO WHITNEY HOUSTON! This year, we lost one of the greatest singers of all time: Whitney Houston. Her passing affected so many of us who loved her, and some of today's biggest stars like her "Sparkle" costar Jordin Sparks, Melanie Fiona, and Ledisi will all honor her legacy with a must-watch performance.
6.) KELLY ROWLAND, ADAM LAMBERT, AND KERI HILSON WILL HONOR THE LATE DONNA SUMMER WITH A TRIBUTE! The iconic and irreplaceable Donna Summer left a lasting impression on music (she's going into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next year, and WELL DESERVED), the word "Diva" would have less meaning without knowing Donna's presence. Kelly Rowland, Adam Lambert, and Keri Hilson, some modern day divas in their own right, will do Donna justice by giving a magnificent onstage tribute.
7.) CIARA WILL DRAW INSPIRATION FROM MICHAEL JACKSON FOR HER SHOWSTOPPING PERFORMANCE! Even after he's departed, MJ still continues to inspire us. Ciara has hinted that a Michael Jackson song may sneak its way into her performance. Ciara: always be startin' something.
8.) "DIVAS" VETERAN KELLY CLARKSON WILL BE PERFORMING "CATCH MY BREATH!" Trust Kelly here -- she's a total pro. We're also keeping our fingers crossed that she'll join in on some major tribute songs as well. After all, she did spend all year covering other people's songs on tour!
9.) NATASHA BEDINGFIELD, IGGY AZALEA, AND BOOTSY COLLINS ARE PERFORMING DEEE-LITE'S "GROOVE IS IN THE HEART!" It's a '90s party, guys. Seriously, "Groove Is In The Heart" is my jam, and with Natasha and Iggy performing it, we could not ask for another! Like another performer on it... you know, it's fine, nvm.
10.) "BASKETBALL WIVES"' OWN JACKIE CHRISTIE WILL HOST THE RED CARPET STARTING AT 8PM! Hopefully the drama will be kept to a minimum, because we're supposed to love each other diva-to-diva on such a celebration!
