Some tracks are so hot that you have to keep dancing no matter how stank your sweat situation has become. The club could be closing and the sun's coming up, your friends are all leaving, and a ghost fog is enveloping the Earth (DAMN IT, MAYANS!) and turning that spooky barn you were hanging out in into a rainbow of otherwordly isolation. That's what happens in German electro-house superstar Kris Menace's "Lone Runner" video (minus the Mayan apocalypse), but NBD, who hasn't been in that situation before?

The song, featuring Swedish producer Unai, is a clippy, digital-disco trip into the soggy nocturnal mist, with an understated heaving pulse. It comes from Kris' new Features LP, available on Compuphonic Records. Kris, who's been all over the electronic map for years, producing and remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Röyksopp, Kylie Minogue, Nelly Furtado, and many others, has lined up a veritable who's who of EDM for guest appearances on the record, including Julian Hamilton from The Presets, Simon Lord of Simian, Dodgy, Robert Owens, and basically everyone else he probably wanted – dude is that good.
