It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup includes a rowdy club banga between one of the industry's most in-demand songwriters and iconic female rappers, funky freshness from a Scissor Sisters alum, and a brand-new breakup ballad by K-pop's premiere queen.

Del Marquis, Ester Dean, BoA and more in 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs Of The Week.

1.) Del Marquis featuring Xavier, "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy"

With the Scissor Sisters on indefinite hiatus, the band's members have been left to their own devices. And for guitarist Del Marquis, that means getting a little funky. Teaming up with NYC singer Xavier last year, the talented musician crafted Tickle, a six-track mixtape full of slick, sensual vibrations and fierce disco struts. The track that kicked it all off, "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy," is actually a cover of Jermaine Jackson's delightfully semi-obscure 1982 track (which featured Devo, no less!). "Let me tickle your fancy/ let me excite your soul," Xavier tempts above the nostalgic, early '80s synthesizers. And if you're catching a whiff of Prince in the production, there's good reason: New Power Generation, the occasional live backing band for the musical icon, joined Del in the studio.

2.) Ester Dean featuring Missy Elliott, "How You Love It"

As the songwriter behind bossy cuts like Rihanna's "Rude Boy" and Katy Perry's "Peacock," and singer behind "Drop It Low," Ester Dean has made a name for herself with her knack for unstoppable pop hooks and her filthy mind. Now, as she continues to pave the way for her solo career, Dean's teamed up with rap titan Missy Elliott for a no-holds-barred interrogation. And yes, she's still got sex on the brain: "If you got what they say, I want you to show me/ Show me how you touch 'em, show me how you love 'em," Dean demands on her new track, "How You Love It," getting handsy above a blazin' club beat. Elliott coolly arrives later in the track, providing some spitfire tag-team action. You can talk that talk -- but can you twerk that twerk? Ester and Missy sure can.

3.) BoA, "Disturbance"

My K-pop queen, BoA, is back! Not that she was ever gone, obvs. "Disturbance" is BoA's first K-Pop single since last year's breezy "Only One," penned and produced solely by the multi-talented songstress herself. The soulful midtempo breakup ballad finds the singer crooning tenderly above a bright piano melody, colored by a soft R&B stomp and some light flares of electric guitar. As with all her slower songs, BoA's melodic vocals carry the track completely, and the newly premiered video for the track (shot by BoA's older brother -- it's a family affair!) is a treat, too. Co-starring Taemin of K-Pop boy band sensation, SHINee, the clip is a choose-your-own-adventure, so wait until the very end! The internet is truly a wonderful place.

4.) Tegan & Sara, "Now I'm All Messed Up"

At long last, Tegan & Sara's brilliantly amazing new record, Heartthrob, was released this week. Just about every track on the entire record screams certifiable smash, including their explosive lead track "Closer" and the stunning power ballad, "I Was A Fool" (which we covered two weeks ago). "Now I'm All Messed Up" is yet another favorite -- and by the title alone, the song's angst-riddled theme is fairly self-explanatory: "Why do I take this lonely road?/ Nobody here to walk with me," the girls sadly croon on the slow-striding verses. And then there's that massive call and response: "Go! (Please stay!) Go! (Please stay!)/ Go if you want -- I can't stop you," the girls tearfully urge above the chilly synthesizers. Letting go isn't easy -- especially when it's so damn catchy.

5.) Kristine Elezaj, "Monster"

It's been nearly three years since Kristine Elezaj first bust on the scene with No Questions Remain, her debut collection of Britney-lite electro-pop bangers, including "Warpath," "Kidnap the DJ," and "Let You Know." And now, the rising pop princess-to-be is back with an Adonis-produced banga for 2013: "I don't give a damn, watch me own it/ I do me, won't walk to the beat of your drum," Elezaj growls on her fiercely confident club-pop cut "Monster." With a pulse straight off of Kelis' naughty "Blindfold Me," and a chugging R&B beat channeling JoJo's "Sexy To Me," Elezaj is bearing her teeth and coming for blood (and, presumably, wigs).
