Megahit Gaming Franchise Cuphead Takes on SDCC with First-Ever Panel and Exclusive Poster Signings

Cuphead and Mugman are leaving Inkwell Isles to make some mayhem in San Diego! The mischievous brothers and stars of the hit gaming franchise Cuphead are taking on the crowds of SDCC with their first-ever panel and exclusive poster signings.

Beginning Friday morning, fans can drop by the Comics Kingdom booth (#1634) on the show floor for the chance to pick up a ticket for a poster signing with Cuphead co-creators, Chad and Jared Moldenhauer. The tickets will be available to the first 500 fans to drop by the booth in exchange for a badge swipe. Each ticket will feature a scheduled timeslot for the signing on Saturday, July 20^th, between 1-4pm.

Saturday afternoon, in panel room 5AB from 4:30-5:30pm, the Moldenhauer brothers will take the stage for A Fireside Chat with Cuphead’s Creators: Chad and Jared Moldenhauer to discuss the inspiration and cultural phenomenon around the unique video game and what’s next for the hit franchise. The chat will feature CJ Kettler (president of King Features and executive producer of Netflix’s Carmen Sandiego and The Tick) as moderator.

Cuphead’s San Diego Comic-Con appearance comes on the heels of the recent announcement that the gaming property is coming soon to Netflix in an all new series – The Cuphead Show!. The animated comedy series will expand on the characters and world of Inkwell Isles, with an animation style inspired by the classic Fleischer cartoons from the 1930s.
