Leaked documentation for Bungie's new "always-connected" first-person shooter says game allows players to create their own character and customize weapons, gear, and vehicles.
Ahead of Bungie's expected announcement of Destiny on Sunday, artwork and information about the game has leaked out of GameStop.
Joystiq has obtained a double-sided poster and other documentation, which not only reveals artwork for the game, but also gameplay elements.
According to the documentation, Destiny will be a first-person shooter set in an "always-connected" universe that allows gamers to create a character and earn customizable weapons, gear, and vehicles.
Destiny is also rumored to have cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes, as well as "public and social activities." These were not described in any greater detail .
Bungie recently launched Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ channels for Destiny.
Destiny is Bungie's first project as part of a 10-year publishing deal with Call of Duty company Activision. Legal documents from May suggested that the game will be released for the Xbox 360 in 2013, with a 2014 release slated for the PlayStation 3.
The game is reportedly "quite like Halo."
