The COVID pandemic of 2020 has halted productions and release dates time and time again. And while there was a glimmer of hope Marvel would be releasing something new from the MCU by December, the studios' last bastion of hope--WandaVision--won't be arriving until January 15. In a tweet, Disney+ announced the mid-January release date, accompanied by a video showcasing the multiple eras this show--which seems an awful lot like a sitcom--will take place in. This is the first year since 2009 that the Marvel Cinematic Universe hasn't produced a new movie or TV show.
