The "Harlem Shake" craze has officially hit One Direction.
Truth be told, we're kinda over the "Harlem Shake." The Baauer-spurred dance craze came, it conquered (see: Austin Mahone and Diddy), and finally died down, so let's drop it already, shall we? However, there is one (AND WE MEAN ONLY ONE) exception to the "Harlem Shake" being OVER rule, and it's obviously that time One Direction stopped mid-concert to do their own rendition of the "Harlem Shake!" We'll excuse those guys anything.
Watch One Direction to the "Harlem Shake" after the jump.
The "Kiss You" singers performed at London's 02 Arena a few days ago, where they not only rocked expertly coordinated outfits, but they halted everything for a quick "Harlem Shake" dance. Now, despite what we said about the "Harlem Shake" being over, we still think that 1D's rendition would be on par with other (imagined) pop music moments in history, like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera reuniting on stage and/or Justin Timberlake getting back together with *NSync. In other words, NOT TO BE MISSED. (But at least 1D's "Shake" really happened -- we're still waiting on that Brit and X-Tina / Justin and *Nsync reunion.)
