The Spy Kids movie franchise, which is about kids who are spies, is returning with a reboot. According to Deadline, Skydance Media has optioned the rights to bring back the Spy Kids franchise with the franchise's original writer-director-creator, Robert Rodriguez. According to the report, Rodriguez will write and direct a new Spy Kids movie. Skydance Media is working with Spy Kids rights-holder Spyglass on the reimagination of the series.
