New Song: Daft Punk Featuring Pharrell, ‘Get Lucky’

Daft Punk? More like "Daft FUNK."

We've been going a little crazy lately waiting for new material from French digital-pop robot duo Daft Punk, who, after a non-stop avalanche of teases, are finally BACK with new material. The first is the recently leaked (and now official) single "Get Lucky," a funk-a-thon of late-night disco ball proportions featuring Pharrell and Nile Rodgers on rhythm guitar (maybe you caught a lil' preview of it at Coachella?), the first single from the upcoming full-length album, Random Access Memories.

Set to a straight '70s, disco-banger beat, "Get Lucky" features a smoother-than-ever Pharrell crooning about staying up all hours of the night "to get lucky." "We're up all night 'til the sun/ We're up all night to get some / We're up all night for good fun / We're up all night to get lucky." But Pharrell's not the only one who's out to "get some" -- our favorite space robots kick "Get Lucky" up a notch towards the end with ditigized, funk-a-fized vocals as they echo Pharrell's sexy sentiments. Aaaaand we can call off the search party -- "Get Lucky" is our official Song of Summer 2013. Hope they have beach parties in space!

Get lucky below, and for the love of funk, do NOT miss Daft Punk's Random Access Memories when it drops on May 21.
