Netflix’s Master Of None Returning In May

Netflix has announced that its dramedy series Master of None, co-created by Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation) and Alan Yang (The Good Place), will finally be coming back for Season 3 sometime in May. After a series of delays since Season 2 in 2017, the announcement was surprisingly quietly tucked under a "coming soon" column in a tweet from the streaming service sharing what's ahead in May.

According to Variety, the season will consist of five episodes--although it's unclear as of this writing if the series may adopt a model similar to other series, rolling out half of a season's episode on one date, then the rest later. The first five episodes are under a banner titled "Master of None Presents: Moments in Love," and these are expected to focus on Lena Waithe's character, Denise. These episodes have reportedly been co-written with Ansari and Waithe.

In 2019, he spoke about the controversy in a special titled Aziz Ansari: Right Now.
