Square Enix is releasing a pair of in-depth lore books focused on its MMO Final Fantasy XIV. Dubbed Encyclopedia Eorzea - The World of Final Fantasy XIV, the hardcover books cover all things Eorzea, which makes them great collectors items for dedicated players. Both volumes of Encyclopedia Eorzea release on April 12, 2022, and Amazon is offering preorder discounts right now. Considering the Square Enix Store is charging full price for both books, Amazon's preorder deal is definitely worth checking out. Square Enix is also releasing a Final Fantasy XIV poster collection featuring 27 posters, but it's not available to preorder just yet. With Amazon's preorder price guarantee, you'll pay the lowest price offered between the time you order and release. Amazon routinely offers big discounts on books ahead of their release, so it's certainly possible these will be available for even less before they arrive next April. Volume I is on sale for $30, down from $50. It's described as "the definitive guide to the world of the massively popular online game." The 304-page hardcover book has full-color illustrations and copious amounts of details about the land of Eorzea and those who live there. It also comes with an exclusive code for an in-game Namingway minion. Volume II of Encyclopedia Eorzea hasn't received as steep of a discount, but you can still save $11 on your preorder right now. Volume II is also 304 pages and comes with an exclusive code for Matoya's Hat to wear in the game.
