Ghostbusters proton packs are usually available as either cheap replicas that lack a number of screen-accurate details or expensive kits that take plenty of time and effort to put together. Hasbro may have finally reached the perfect compromise with its latest offering, which is currently up on its crowdfunding website Haslab. A $400 pledge gets you a proton pack based on Egon Spengler's backpack from Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Hasbro says that it used 3D scans of the movie prop, and the final product will feature detailed weathering, a customizable cyclotron, and the signature sound effects of the unlicensed nuclear accelerator. The only caveats here seem to be the lack of a traditional Alice-Frame that the original props came mounted on, although it seems like the backpack has space for one to be mounted to one.
