Rock group The Foo Fighters have released the first official trailer from the band's upcoming horror comedy film, Studio 666. The movie is set to debut theatrically on February 25. Based on the trailer, Studio 666 is everything we need to lighten up the heavy times we've all been going through lately. According to an official synopsis: "The Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much-anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band." The film is, in a word, ridiculous. Check out the trailer and see for yourself. Studio 666 comes from a story by Grohl, and the screenplay is co-written by Jeff Buhler (Pet Sematary, The Prodigy) and Rebecca Hughes (Cracking Up, Grounded for Life). The movie is directed by BJ McDonnell (Slayer: The Repentless Killogy). Non-Foo Fighter actors in the film include Will Forte (MacGruber), Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin), Leslie Grossman (American Horror Story), and Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm).
