The Postelles traipse around NYC with Alex Winston in their new "Pretend It's Love" video.

There's no end in sight to the amount of NYC cred indie rockers The Postelles have stockpiled, and it's not just because their 2011 debut album was produced by The Strokes' Albert Hammond, Jr. For one thing, the four-piece originally formed at the Upper West Side's Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School, they've recorded at NYC's Quad Studios AND Looking Glass Studios, and their new video, "Pretend It's Love," featuring singer-songwriter Alex Winston, takes place all up in our blessed Northeast isle. See? Cred.

The second track from The Postelles' sophomore album, ...And It Shook Me, "Pretend It's Love" is filmed like an early silent movie -- all grainy black-and-white -- and features lead singer Alex Balk on what could be a date (or just an extended collaborative meeting) with the song's costar, Alex Winston. The duo certainly have some time to kill, as they spend the majority of their day traipsing through NYC, looking attractive in hanging out in bars, recording in the studio... you know, just your typical "Musicians In Manhattan" kinda day.

Check out The Postelles' latest album, ...And It Shook Me, on iTunes, and catch their late-spring tour dates around the United States (including one on June 11 at NYC's The Studio At Webster Hall).
