Hunter Hayes is having a pretty decent year, wouldn't you say? Not only did the up-and-coming country singer DOMINATE his performance at the 2013 CMT Music Awards, but he's also prepping (Encore), the deluxe follow-up to his 2011 self-titled debut (check out behind-the-scenes photos of his recording sessions at Darkhorse Studios in Nashville!). Hmmm, what else? Oh, yeah! Hunter's Artist To Watch status has earned him a show at NYC's Webster Hall on June 18, which you'll be able to livestream right here. Set to a triumphant, highly-orchestrated track, "Light Me Up" has Hunter singing about a special lady who brings him back to life after a heartbreak: "You light me up/ Like the fireworks flying on the Fourth of July/ You light me up/ Like the sunshine blazing in the summertime/ Every time you light me up." OK, we thought we knew what love was after hearing heartfelt/crazy-in-love songs like "Wanted" and "I Want Crazy," but HUNTER! Way to knock this one out of the park! Can anyone say "Song Of Summer 2013"?
