Fans Can Catch a Special Panel and Snag Exclusive Merch at This Year’s Show
SAN DIEGO – Toho International, the Japanese studio’s U.S.-based subsidiary that has brought classic Godzilla to life, is excited to announce its presence at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. All weekend long, fans of the iconic monster will have access to exclusive merch from a slate of top-tier licensees like IDW Publishing, Monogram, Mondo, and more. Additionally, Toho International will host a panel on Thursday, July 21 to discuss Godzilla collectibles and why the classic films still resonate in consumer products today.

Panel: Up From The Depths: Toho’s Godzilla
Chris Mowry (creative manager for Toho International and host of the Godzilla CHOMP web series) is joined by Brian Flynn (founder of Super7), Hector Arce (Mondo), Jody Dankberg (Stern Pinball), famed artists SHAG and Attack Peter, and Jazmine Joyner (IDW Publishing) discuss the collectibles side of Godzilla and why the classic films continue to inspire products in new and creative ways. Get a glimpse into new products and what’s in store for Godzilla’s upcoming 70th anniversary.
