The official Hobbiton movie set in Matamata, New Zealand where The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit were filmed, will soon allow visitors to book a room on the grounds through Airbnb.

For the first time, the owners of the movie set are listing a stay at the site through the popular homestay website. Specifically, visitors can book the Millhouse, which is being transformed into a two-bedroom home. So no, it's not a Hobbit hole, but it's still on site and looks extremely cosy.

This is an extremely limited opportunity, as the venue is only offering three two-night stays, including March 2-4, March 9-11, and March 16-18 in 2023.
