Mythic Quest is getting a limited spin-off called Mere Mortals that will explore "the lives of employees, players, and fans who are impacted" by the fictional game at the center of the main series. Variety was first to report. The show comes from writers Ashly Burch (who also plays tester Rachel) , John Howell Harris, and Katie McElhenney--who all work on Mythic Quest. There's no word yet on when the show will premiere, but Season 3 of the flagship series returned to Apple TV+ back in November. Mythic Quest creators Megan Ganz, Rob McElhenney, and Charlie Day will executive produce Mere Mortals along with executive producer and star David Hornsby. Last year, Mythic Quest was renewed for Seasons 3 and 4. Season 2 concluded in June 2021, with the series proving to be a surprising success for Apple.
