We now have official word that a Quidditch game set in the Harry Potter universe is coming, and while we don't have all the details yet, here's what we do know about the upcoming game.

What is this Quidditch game?

According to a recent announcement, the title of the game is Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, and it's a competitive multiplayer game that's been in development for several years. It will be a standalone game, and it will be published by Warner Bros. under the Portkey Games label, which is the one it uses for Harry Potter games.

What platforms is it coming out for?

Currently, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is set for PC and unconfirmed consoles. It's unclear when this decision will be made, but it's almost guaranteed to support current-gen consoles in some capacity.
