So much Selena Gomez, so little time! Listen to Selena's "Lover In Me" single, and watch her "Slow Down" video.
Brace yourselves, Selenators! Not only are we in the midst of a terrible heat wave, but we're also in the midst of a Selena Gomez-wave! Or, a very special day when we're treated to not one, but TWO new Selena offerings. Yep, just a few days before her forthcoming Stars Dance album drops, Selena's Target bonus track, "Lover In Me," and her "Slow Down" video have surfaced online. We'd say go out and celebrate, but it's too effing hot to move.
Listen to Selena Gomez's "Lover In Me" and watch her "Slow Down" video after the jump.
First on deck is "Lover In Me," a bonus track off the Target version of Selena's Stars Dance. Like "Slow Down" and even "Come & Get It," Love In Me" is a bona fide dance track with swirling synths and hypnotic drums. Produced by Dreamlab, Selena's computerized voice boldly chants, "I'm never giving up on this/ The lover in me, is the lover in you/ You can't stop my heart." Though it's still sugary sweet sparkling pop, it's definitely a more mature subject matter for Selena. In the spirit of Miley 2.0, welcome Selena 2.0!
Next up is Selena's recently surfaced "Slow Down" video, which, if we may say so ourselves, is perhaps her MOST GORGEOUS visual yet. While there's no direct plot, there is definitely a lot of sweaty, sultry Selena shaking her thing in a club, strutting down a cobblestone street, and flashing her absurdly toned abs. There's also a LOT of smoky eyes happening, not to mention a super-bold lip, which, if you ask us, basically just means, like, NO MORE DISNEY. It's Sel's most "grown-ass woman" video to date, and obviously we're not even a little mad at it. You do you, girl. Twerque.
