Lady Gaga kinda sorta promotes her (maybe) new single "Applause"... maybe.
Something tells us that Lady Gaga's not one to pass on the dramatics -- remember that time she commissioned a fierce 24-karat gold wheelchair? But back to the present. Thanks to a bold new image uploaded to Gaga's LittleMonsters site by her makeup artist, Tara Savelo, Gaga stans might kinda sorta FINALLY have some info regarding their Mother's first single off of her upcoming album, ARTPOP. Kind of. Perhaps. Maybe. It's still basically unclear, but we'll take it.
As you can see, the above image isn't much more than a glimpse at Gaga's toned arm, reaching her hand out to block a piece of paper with the word "Applause" written in all red caps on it. But, along with the photo came the telling caption, "26 Days," which Gaga detectives soon realized is almost exactly how many days until Gaga promised to release her new single (Aug. 19!!!). So, yeah, not much to report other than that Gaga's new single is probably titled "Applause" (or "The Applause," according to some Gaga fan sites). Is it the most humble of song titles? Probably not, but it's definitely indicative of what's to come when Gaga inevitably performs the song to -- wait for it -- thunderous applause on every award show and late-night talk show in the coming months.
