BSB show us what THEY'RE made of on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
As you know, Backstreet Boys released In A World Like This yesterday, and to celebrate their eighth studio album's arrival, the quintet took to the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" outdoor stage to perform two of their new songs: "In A World Like This" and "Show 'Em (What You're Made Of)." Also cool? The disc marks the group's 20th band-iversary in the biz -- which, among other things, basically means that posters of these harmony-laden men are now gracing the bedroom walls of, like, two generations of women: screaming teens and soccer moms. WHOA.
Watch Backstreet Boys perform "In A World Like This" and "Show 'Em (What You're Made Of)" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after the jump.
Kicking off their set with the titular lead single, every member of BSB soars through all of the notes -- they're better than ever! With the live vocals and all, we LOVE getting to really hear each guy's individual contribution to the tightly woven harmonies. Howie's falsetto ooh-ing and ahh-ing are just, like, the angelic background music to every eighth-grade fantasy we ever had. You know, where you'd run off to live with your boy band idols, and do grown-up stuff (i.e. eat pizza every night 'cause Mom's not here now, IS SHE?).
Following that, Backstreet Boys whip out an equal act of dreamboat-ery with a live rendition of "Show 'Em (What You're Made Of)" -- or, as we like to call it, "Show 'Em (WHAT HEAVEN FEELS LIKE OMGAHH)." Yeah, we always try to put the "B" in "subtle." Enjoy!
