Farming and fixing up Coral Island may be the game's central focus, but sometimes you really want someone to share that life with. Luckily, you have a lot of Coral Island romance options, and who you pursue is entirely up to you. With so many options, it's understandable if you have some trouble picking the right sweetheart, but we can at least take some of the pressure off by sharing everything you need to know about them below.

All romance options in Coral Island

While romance options have expanded in past updates and may continue to do so in the future, there are currently 28 romance options in Coral Island. You can begin to date a character when you get their hearts to level 8. You raise their relationship level by chatting with them frequently--once per in-game day will do the trick--and giving them their favorite gifts. Afterward, you'll be able to start a relationship with your chosen love interest, ultimately having the option to marry them when you get their hearts to level 10. Also note that three of the characters who arrived with the Merfolk update in 2023 are planned as romance options in a future update. We've included them in the list for now, but they are not romanceable yet in-game. A future game update will make them romanceable and reveal their favorite gifts.
