The holiday giving season is here, but did you know The Toy Bank supports those in need all year long? The Toy Foundation program works to collect millions of toys from companies and distribute them to thousands of children’s charities and hospitals around the globe! In its 20 years of operations, The Toy Bank program has collected $35 million worth of toys to get them into the hands of those who need them most!

The Toy Bank’s largest collection this year, last month’s New York Toy Fair, the largest toy show in the Western Hemisphere, amassed $2 million in toys and games from hundreds of exhibitors to support 30,000 children in need. The quantity of toys filled 14 26’ box trucks, the equivalent of 6 semi-trucks, with wishlist-topping items that will be distributed to the Foundation’s charitable partners, including NYC-based nonprofits Metro World Child and Children of Promise.

The Toy Bank is a crucial part of the industry to ensure all children experience the joy and important physical, emotional and educational benefits of play.
