All hail Katy Perry's 'Prism' era!

Brace yourselves, friends, because if you thought Katy Perry was finished announcing her Prism era and laying her "California Gurls" self to rest, then you were SORELY mistaken. First, Katy heralded the coming of Prism via a GIANT GOLD-PLATED TRUCK. Then, Katy lit her signature purple wig on fire in the first teaser for Prism's lead single, "Roar," which essentially signaled the death of "colorful candy Katy" and the birth of "darker, fiercer Katy." Now, Katy has unveiled another teaser for "Roar," and while there's no fire, there's DEFINITELY a coffin.

Posting her latest teaser to Facebook, Katy captioned, "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, a new beginning is a must!" But first? CLOSURE.

In her new teaser, Katy symbolically lays her candy-coated pop princess self to rest with --what else? -- a proper funeral. Decked in dark colors, Katy stands in a crowd of mourners as she watches a coffin, which is draped in pink flowers and Katy's signature spinning peppermint dress, be lowered into the ground. As a priest says a few words, teary-eyed friends and family (a couple of whom are wearing bright purple wigs) look devastated. But not Katy. Lowering her sunglasses and giving a little chuckle, Katy has an above-it-all look on her face that says something like: "Cry now, b*****s, but wait until you hear my new ish!" Bottom line: colorful, candy-dress-wearing Katy OUT, wig-lighting-on-fire, gold-Mack-truck-commissioning Katy IN. #PREPARE.
