How we feel about watching another Katy Perry "Roar" teaser. (Hint: pretty good.)
Katy Perry is not playing around with these teaser videos for "Roar," the lead single off of her upcoming Prism LP (out Oct. 22)! After first announcing her upcoming album with a giant gold truck two Mondays ago, Katy's released promo videos where she burns her iconic blue wig and holds a funeral for her former candy-coated image. Clearly, the Teenage Dreamer wants us to know that this new album era will look and feel like nothing she did before. But how will it sound? Well, thanks to this new cat-themed "Roar" teaser, we may just have the answer.

Titled "From A Meow To A Roar," the Katy Perry-less clip opens on a Persian cat, who releases a soft mew as it curiously creeps into an unoccupied room. (She's no Kitty Purry, but she'll do.) After devouring a clump of feathers found lying on the couch, the feline unleashes a mighty, crazy-mouthed roar. WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN. Given the "Smurfs 2" star's general "scorched Earth" (Earth being her Teenage Dream-era self) approach to promoting this album, we think that the feathers either represent Katy's song "Peacock" or, more generally, her past showgirliness. But who the eff knows, MAYBE KATY JUST HATES BIRDS. GUH, we won't know for sure until Aug. 12.
(Dear Sands of Time, Plz fall faster in your oversize hourglass so that it can be Monday already. Love, Buzzworthy. P.S. CAH-MAHHHHHHHHHHN.)
