Samuel L. Jackson played the Jedi Mace Windu in the Star Wars prequels, and while we all assumed the character died in 2005's Revenge of the Sith, Jackson doesn't think so. He told Empire that not only does he believe Windu is still alive, but he wants him to get his own TV show. Regarding Windu's fate, Jackson said, "He's not dead!!!" And asked about what he would like to see Mace Windu do in a TV series for Disney+, Jackson said "Everything yes!!" In a pivotal sequence in Revenge of the Sith, Windu says to Palpatine, "The oppression of the Sith will never return. You have lost." Windu and Palpatine then tussle before Anakin tells Windu to spare Palpatine's life.
