The United Kingdom's Royal Mint has revealed Star Wars-inspired coins are on the way. The first of them is available today and features the Millennium Falcon on a silver 50p coin.

The news initially came from the official Royal Mint X/Twitter account. The tweet reads:

"A new @StarWarsUK™ coin featuring one of the most iconic vehicles in the history of cinema has landed. The legendary Millennium Falcon is the first to appear on a UK 50p. Add to your collection here."
