Helldivers 2's latest balance patch is here, and it's knocked some of Super Earth's favorite weapons down a peg. Players are lamenting nerfs to popular weapons like the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, which was only recently introduced and proved to be a bot-destroying powerhouse. Its recharge time has been increased. Meanwhile, the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow now creates smaller explosions and can hold fewer magazines, though it now deals more stagger to enemies. One of the game's most popular weapons introduced in the Cutting Edge Warbond, the Sickle, has seen the number of magazines it can hold cut in half, from six down to three. Add on the fact that one of the best support Stratagems to help cut hordes of weaker enemies, the AX/AR-23 Guard Dog, has seen its damage reduced by 30%, and the bugs and bots have plenty to celebrate.
