Xenoblade Chronicles X is one of the few remaining major Nintendo games stuck on Wii U. To add insult to injury, it's the only entry in the beloved Monolith Soft RPG series unavailable on Switch. But that will change soon, as Nintendo is releasing Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on March 20, 2025. Much like the first game's upgraded edition for Switch, the upcoming remaster features overhauled graphics and quality-of-life improvements. The physical version of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is available to preorder now for $60 at GameStop. We will update this preorder guide when it's available at Best Buy and Target, but don't expect Xenoblade Chronicles X to be listed on Amazon or Walmart until launch.
