Infinity Nikki - Styling Contests and Mira Crown guide

The Styling Contests in Infinity Nikki come in many forms. Generally speaking, though, they all involve equipping the right outfits based on attributes and themes. You can learn more about this mechanic in our clothing and Eureka upgrades guide.

Styling Contests: Factions and quests

Some Styling Contests happen as part of quests. There are certain NPCs that will challenge Nikki, and you have to get a perfect score to pass the trial.

In other instances, you might find opponents via the Faction system. In each of the game's major regions, there are groups vying for fashion supremacy. You can track these NPCs via the Faction menu, and then defeat them in challenges. Once all sub-faction members have been beaten, you can take on the main leader in a region.

Styling Contests: The Mira Crown

The Infinity Nikki Mira Crown Styling Contest, meanwhile, is something that we unlocked upon reaching Mira Level 25. We were then told to return to the second floor of the Stylist's Guild in Florawish. That's where we met an NPC named Violetta, who activated the Mira Crown mirror.

Think of the Mira Crown as somewhat akin to Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss or Wuthering Waves' Tower of Adversity in that there are multiple rounds to complete:

  • Styling Contest - The first tab has 15 rounds which won't be reset or rescheduled. Think of these as your basic challenges. You'll receive 5-star Wishfield pieces, such as Eternal Blossoms, Eternal Harmony, and Wishful Honors, upon completion of all the rounds.
  • Pinnacle Contest - Once you've completed the third round, you'll unlock the Pinnacle Contest tab. There are eight rounds here, as well as a random boost or modifier. The required attributes and modifiers are reset at regular intervals (approximately one month).

Getting started: Nikki's attire

The first thing you should look at when it comes to the Styling Contests in Infinity Nikki is the main styling theme or category. These are Elegant, Fresh, Sweet, Sexy, and Cool. There are also sub-categories like Uniform or Leisure.

All the clothing items in the game have a set number of points for a particular attribute. For example, the Bubbly Voyage dress (Whispering Bubbles) has the following stats at level zero:

  • Elegant: D 79
  • Fresh: C 274
  • Sweet: A 547
  • Sexy: D 99
  • Cool: D 102

As such, if the challenge requires a Sweet-themed outfit, then consider equipping the Bubbly Voyage set if that's the best you have. Note that most outfit sets also include a unique hairstyle, socks, and shoes. They might not include their own outerwear/jacket, so be sure to equip one as well.

Note: Clothing parts also have rarities, denoted by the number of stars. As such, a 5-star blouse without upgrades tends to have higher points than a 3-star or 4-star blouse that also doesn't have upgrades.

Following up: Nikki's accessories

In some Infinity Nikki Styling Contests, you might see a required/maximum number of accessories. Check the ones you have by clicking on the handbag icon and browsing the available slots, such as headwear, earrings, bracelets, chokers, and more.

Ideally, an outfit set that includes accessories would already grant the highest number of points. If not, try to unequip all the accessories first, before reselecting them one at a time to see which options are best.

Completing the set: Eurekas

After selecting your clothes and accessories, you'll be asked to choose Eurekas. These are cosmetic frills that float around Nikki's head, hands, and feet. They, too, grant bonuses to your final score.

Heart of Infinity boosts

If you want to succeed in Infinity Nikki's Mira Crown and Styling Contests, be sure to take a look at the Heart of Infinity menu ("I" key). The section along the right-hand side has several perks that provide a permanent percentage-based increase to your score from several outfit parts and accessories. These can be unlocked by spending bling (i.e. gold) and Whimstars.

Styling Contest scoring system

As for the trials themselves, assuming you're wearing the best options available, you should be able to pass with flying colors. Aiming for a "Perfect" result also nets you more rewards. Likewise, you can check the performance summary to see which equipment slots lack the necessary points, in case you want to replace them.

That does it for our guide on how to complete Mira Crown and Styling Contests in Infinity Nikki. Don't forget to upgrade your gear pieces to achieve the best results.
