Adam Lambert nailed his cover of Bob Marley's "Is This Love."

Covering a Bob Marley song can be a dangerous and potentially tragic undertaking because, well, you are not Bob Marley. But -- surprise surprise -- Adam Lambert totally nailed it! Also, do you really think a dude who got a gigantic music-themed tattoo in Latin on his forearm is gonna mess up Marley cover? Prolly not because he's FOCUSED ON HIS CRAFT, to reference Tenacious D. The newly glammed-out Lambert stopped by the Take 40 Lounge in Australia to put his own spin on Marley's classic, "Is This Love." And it's BEYOND.

Backed by his band, Adam slipped right into the reggae vibe and basically took the entire crowd on a mental vacation to somewhere tropical with unlimited umbrella drinks. While Adam paid his respects to the original melody, he still managed to infuse some of his pop inflections into Bob's laid-back jam. Balance is everything! Nicely done, Adam. Nicely done.
