Sports Illustrated is reporting that AEW owner and president Tony Khan has made some decisions about the fight that broke out backstage between newly-crowned AEW World Champion CM Punk (real name Phil Brooks) and his executive vice presidents and also the first AEW Trios Champs The Elite (The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega) after the All Out press scrum turned into a backstage brawl. The situation started at the scrum with Punk asking Nick Hausman from WrestlingInc if he's friends with Scott Colton, aka Colt Cabana. That led Punk into an unprovoked tirade about journalistic integrity without being asked a question despite Punk saying it's a shame he has to talk about this on "his time." Even after being asked about MJF, Punk continued to berate Colton. Punk also accused Hangman Adam Page for "going into business for himself" on live television as well as accusing the EVPs of feeding rumors to wrestling sites. He continued dragging an EVP saying "if you're an EVP you don't try to middle your top babyface" and how they "step on their own dick" in the way of getting money.
