It’s Friday! We all made it through the week and are looking forward to the weekend… so let’s have a Double Scoop of Scoops! That’s right there’s a SECOND scoop today!
The reveal comes from the folks at Big Chief Studios in the UK. These are the folks that are knocking it out of the park with their incredible 1:6th scale figures for Doctor Who and Sherlock.
Today, we get to debut the work in progress and reveal images of their upcoming 1:6th scale display dioramas for one of the most famous addresses in literature 221B Baker Street and the wildly popular TV programe SHERLOCK!
On the off chance you have not seen any of their work, here is some background on Big Chief Studios:
Established in 2011, BIG Chief Studios Ltd. was founded by Mark Andrews and Tony Leetham, industry professionals with more than thirty years experience working with licensed characters and brands.
Hailing from a creative background, both company directors felt the time was right for them to branch out and form a company that specialised in the manufacture of high-end figures and collectables.
Having successfully acquired the rights to Doctor Who, the longest running sci-fi TV show in the world, BIG Chief proceeded with their next license – Sherlock, the multi-award winning drama starring Benedict Cumberbach and Martin Freeman.
Big Chief sent us images of the door being built from 3 different stages of the process, and as you can see every dent, every chip, every detail is being accounted for in this incredible piece.

Stage 2:
Stage 3: This diorama will be making it’s debut later tonight at the Sherlocked convention (April 24th-26th) in Lodon.
It’s up to you. You bought these great figures already. Would you rather have them standing in front of a pile of dusty books or would you rather have them on display in front of THIS?!?
A big “THANK YOU to the team at Big Chief Studios and I hope you guys have a great time at the Sherlocked Convention this weekend!
