Ever since we broke the news of Scott Neitlich aka ToyGuru leaving Mattel back in October I have had a ton of folks ask me where he was going and what was his new gig.

We wanted to let him get his legs under him at his new job and settle in… and get his permission before we made the announcement.   But he’s settled, he’s rolling and he’s ready now!

We can officially announce that Scott Neitlich is the Director of Marketing for boys action figures and collectors at Jakks Pacific.

When Scott told us in our exclusive interview that he would be working on some of the BIGGEST licenses at his new job, he didn’t just mean big blockbusters!   He also meant BIG toys!

 Scott is heading up a new division over at Jakks and he and his team have some amazing BIG things on the horizon that we will be hearing about soon.  But if you are paying any attention to Jakks and how their JUMBO figures of Star Wars, DC Comics and TMNT are taking over the toy aisles with detailed, big figures at a reasonable price, then you can see the possibilities of what could lay ahead for toy fans!

All of us at AFi want to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to Scott on the new gig and we can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeves for us next!
