Welcome back to day 4 of “Scoop Week” and our 11th Anniversary celebration.   Today we have an awesome reveal from the gang at PPW Toys.   In this day and age it’s never easy to carve out a name for yourself and do something different with a license other than slightly changing the scale.  But PPW DID go a different route by licensing Mr. Potato Head from Hasbro and then applying some other great licenses to form their “Pop Tater” line.  You can see more of PPW’s great offering here in our Toy Fair 2016 gallery.

The great thing about PPW Toys is that yes, they do hit the main characters and fan favorites, but also aren’t afraid play some deeper cuts.

In that vein we are greatly honored to debut…what might just be one of my favorite pop culture collectibles of 2016, just in time for his feature film debut – The Pop Tater Mr. Potato Head Doctor Strange!!

 

By the Hoary Hosts of Hogath!  Mr. Potato Head enchants as the Sorcerer Supreme and Master of the Mystic Arts, Doctor Strange!  Wearing his classic costume featuring the Cloak of Levitation and the Eye of Agamatto, this detailed figure stands 6” tall and is perfect for play or display!

Come ON now!   If you don’t think we are living in a golden age of geekdom, then I don’t know what you are waiting for!   As a kid growing up in the 70’s and 80’s there was never any Doctor Strange merchandise out there.   And now I can own a classic costume, comics accurate Mr. Potato Head Doctor Strange?!?  You kids don’t know how good you have it!
