Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" gets a part 2, aka a duet with Steve Kazee!
Remember when you basically bawled your eyes out watching Edward and Bella kiss in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" while Christina Perri's moving "A Thousand Years" played softly in the background? Oh, you do? And do you remember thinking to yourself: "Man, this song so perfectly embodies the whole 'Twilight Saga' thing because a thousand years is not even a quarter of how long Edward and Bella will be together because they're gonna live forever?!" As it turns out, a lot of other people (including the film's music supervisors) went through that very same thought process, because now Christina's song will be featured in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"! Only this time it's been re-recorded as a duet with Tony Award winner Steve Kazee, otherwise know as that totally adorable dude from the Broadway hit show "Once."

Aptly titled "A Thousand Years (Part 2)," the track's latest version sounds a lot like the original, save for the fact that Steve Kazee sings the entire second verse before Christina joins him on the last few choruses in a two-part harmony. Basically, there's no way you can listen to this song and not immediately start crying and/or relive your favorite moments from "Twilight." Like that one time Bella ran through a red-cloaked crowd to save Edward from the Volturi! Or that other time they lay down together in a field of pretty flowers. Or maybe that other time they took a speedboat to their giant private honeymoon cabana?! And I'll probably stop right there. But I could definitely go on if you wanted me to.
