Watch Alicia Keys, The Killers, Pitbull, and Psy perform at the 2012 MTV EMA!
The 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards are coming...and we simply cannot BELIEVE/PROCESS/UNDERSTAND how many amazing artists will be performing at the show! You know how we told you that Taylor Swift, No Doubt, and Muse would be performing, and THEN we told you that Carly Rae Jepsen, Rita Ora, and Fun. would be joining? Well, NOW guess what...we've got more! Recently added to the EMA stage will be Alicia Keys (who not long ago killed it with Nicki Minaj at the 2012 MTV VMAs), Psy, The Killers, and Pitbull. Oh man...where'd we put that paper bag to breath into? We need it again.
Read up on the 2012 MTV EMA performers after the jump.
As we'd expect, each artist will bring something ah-may-zing to the stage: While Alicia Keys is slated to perform her latest single "Girl On Fire," rapper/producer Pitbull will get the crowd psyched for the show with tracks from his new album Global Warming. The Killers are also back in the spotlight these days, having just released a brand-new album Battle Born, while Psy is set to make his EMA debut with a performance of "Gangnam Style." (And we're just gonna start hoping right now that a celebrity or two has the good sense to join him onstage for a photo op.)
Just in case you guys forgot, this year's EMA will be held at Frankfurt, Germany's Festhalle and will be hosted by Germany's own supermodel/entrepreneur/reality icon Heidi Klum. We'll also remind you guys of the nominees: Rihanna has topped the list with six nominations; Justin Bieber and Katy Perry each grabbed four EMA nominations; and M.I.A., Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Psy are all nominated for Best Video. And here's more: You can even cast your vote in select EMA categories, including Best New, Best Live, and Biggest Fan by visiting mtvema.com or m.mtvema.com on your phone. Got all that? Now all you need to do is wait! (And keep that paper bag for breathing close by...)
The 19th annual MTV EMA will air live on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 9 p.m. CET from Frankfurt's historic Festhalle on MTV channels around the world. If you're in America, and you probably are, watch the show that night at 11 p.m. on MTV2.
