Theater chain AMC and Sony Pictures are joining forces to give away more than 100 unique Spider-Man NFTs to the first 86,000 customers to buy tickets online for the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home. The highly-anticipated sequel will finally be hitting theaters on December 17. According to a release, members of AMC Theaters's Stubs Premiere, A-List, and AMC Investor Connect programs will be eligible for the offer, which was announced on November 29--which is also when tickets go on sale. The NFTs--or non-fungible token, which is basically another cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin--were designed by animation house Cub Studios. Spider-Man: No Way Home promises to pit Spidey against a ton of villains, including villains featured in Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, and The Amazing Spider-Man. Holland confirmed in the same interview that Jamie Foxx's Electro, featured in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will appear in the film as well. In addition to Spidey, Holland's Uncharted film is on the way.
